Funeral services for Elmer Ray Sellers, 92 of Beaumont will be 2:00 PM Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment to follow at Cunningham Cemetery in Silsbee. Visitation will be Friday from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Mr. Sellers passed away March 16, 2016 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Beaumont.
Elmer was a native of Selma Louisiana and a longtime resident of Beaumont. He was a retired electrician for Gulf States Utilities, a member of IBEW Local 479, and the owner of Lumberton Boat Center. He served his country proudly in the United States Marines.
Mr. Sellers is preceded in death by parents James Milton and Minnie Dell Haskew Sellers; wife of 67 years Dorothy Lee Sellers; brothers Leon, Junior, Cecil and Charles Sellers; sisters Evelyn and Blanche.
Survivors include sons Gary Sellers and wife Sherry of Beaumont, and Ronny Sellers and wife Jan of Alvin; brother Bill of Sulphur, LA; sisters Jimmie of Sulphur, LA, Shirley of Metairie, LA, and Margie of Georgetown; grandchildren Holly Sellers, Logan Sellers, Cody Sellers, Tifanny Gaytan, Jeremy Gabriel, Melissa Russell and Alan Kirby; and twelve great grandchildren.
