Betty J. Perry, 91, of Milton, WV, passed away Tuesday, March 22, 2016. She was born September 27, 1924, the daughter of the late Thomas H. And Bertha Harshbarger Jordan. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Fred E. Perry; a brother, Harley Jordan; and sisters, Mildred Wanack and Gilda Urias. Mrs. Perry was a member of the Union Baptist Church. She has served as Past Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter # 149, Past chief of the Pythian Sisters #108 and Past President of the American Legion Auxillary Post #139. She was a 4-H leader for a number of years at Milton Elementary School. She is survived by a son, Jon F. Perry of Huntington, WV, daughters, Debbie McClung (Mark) of Lewisburg, WV, and Judy Stephens (Mike) of Milton, WV. Mrs. Perry is also survived by a sister, Geraldine Angus of Milton, WV and Myrtle Beach, SC. She was a proud grandmother of Ryan McClung (Kristen), of Lewisburg, WV, Amanda McClung Bobbitt (Billy) of Lynchburg, VA, Jared Stephens (Erin) of Huntington, WV, and Lara Lawson (Zack) of Milton, WV. Her great grandchildren are Kendall and Drew McClung, Eleanor Jane Bobbitt and Zeta Lawson; and several nieces and nephews. Visitation with the family will be two hours prior to the service at 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 26, 2016, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, with Pastor Rick Watson officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Memorial Park, Milton, WV. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Union Baptist Church, P.O. Box 37, Milton, WV, 25541.
