Robert L Davis Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1936 - 2016 To honor his life and memory, funeral services for Robert L Davis, 79, of Silsbee will be 10:00 am Monday, April 4, 2016 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Cunningham Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Mr. Davis passed away March 31, 2016 at his residence. A native of Mexia, Robert was a longtime resident of Silsbee. He was a pipefitter, working out of Local 195 before retiring. Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Martha Hock Davis; brothers, Lawrence and Jack and sisters Elizabeth, Aline and Mary. Survivors include his wife, Terra Ann Jones Davis of Silsbee; sons Bobby Joe Davis and wife Anna of Warren and Wade Alan Davis and wife Sabrina of Silsbee; daughters Patricia Ann Faltesek and Fuzzy Guertin of Dickinson, Carolyn Sue Hathaway and husband Charles of Fred and Aline Graham and husband Andy of Lumberton; brothers Wade Davis and wife Elsie and Joe Davis, and sister Thelma Pope and husband Dale, all of Mexia. Robert is also survived by twenty two grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

I am so sorry for your loss. The Bible gives us a hope of a resurrection, this is a provision from Jehovah God showing his undeserved kindness. Rev 21:3-4. Please accept my sincere condolences.

'Miss' Terra and Family, My prayers and deepest sympathies on Robert's passing. Have VERY MANY fond memories of times with y'all!! Those memories will last forever! Remember a time fishing on Sam Rayburn and thought he was going to fall out of the boat when Jo (Terra's late sister) thought she had caught a monster, it turned out to be an old plastic coffee cup. Can still hear his laughter. His absence will leave a very large hollow space in our lives! Love and prayers to all! Uncle Mike.

So sorry to hear about Uncle Robert. I always loved visiting him and Aunt Terra. Always made me feel right at home. He will be truly missed. Love him so much! God bless him, and his family.

Our prayers are with you and your family.Your father was quiet the character never met a stranger, we recall on several occasions of Robert coming by our home at Christmas time to play Santa Cause for Brandon.He loved his family and friends.He will be greatly missed by us and the community.

Jeanette and I are sad for Uncle Robert's passing but, we are happy he is with the LORD in Heaven. Our prayerful condolences for the family and especially Aunt Terry.
