To honor his life and memory, funeral services for Robert L Davis, 79, of Silsbee will be 10:00 am Monday, April 4, 2016 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Cunningham Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Sunday at the funeral home.
Mr. Davis passed away March 31, 2016 at his residence.
A native of Mexia, Robert was a longtime resident of Silsbee. He was a pipefitter, working out of Local 195 before retiring.
Mr. Davis is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph and Martha Hock Davis; brothers, Lawrence and Jack and sisters Elizabeth, Aline and Mary.
Survivors include his wife, Terra Ann Jones Davis of Silsbee; sons Bobby Joe Davis and wife Anna of Warren and Wade Alan Davis and wife Sabrina of Silsbee; daughters Patricia Ann Faltesek and Fuzzy Guertin of Dickinson, Carolyn Sue Hathaway and husband Charles of Fred and Aline Graham and husband Andy of Lumberton; brothers Wade Davis and wife Elsie and Joe Davis, and sister Thelma Pope and husband Dale, all of Mexia.
Robert is also survived by twenty two grandchildren and twenty great grandchildren.
He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
