Velma Sue Singer, 65, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Monday April 11, 2016 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV. She was born July 31, 1950 in Huntington, WV. She was preceded in death by her husband Billy Joe Singer and parents Ethel and Richard Wilson and Wayne Barnett. She is survived by her children Kim (Tom) Shephard of Chesapeake, Ohio, and Billy (Lori) Singer of Chesapeake, Ohio; five grandchildren Curly Bill, Bailey and Renie Singer, Boomer Meade and Chancey Hitz; three great grandchildren; two sisters Ruthie (Roger) Arix of Proctorville and Bobbie (Johnny) Singer of Proctorville; and a host of nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday April 13, 2016 at Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. There will be no visitation.
