Johnnie Doris Cole Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1937 - 2016 A graveside service for Johnnie Doris Cole, 78, of Silsbee will be 10:00 am Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Cunningham Cemetery in Silsbee. Visitation will be Friday April 15, 2016 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm at Farmer Funeral Home. Doris passed away April 12, 2016 at Harbor Hospital in Beaumont. She was born November 13, 1937 in Silsbee and was a lifelong resident. Doris was retired from Temple-Inland where she had worked as a storeroom clerk. She is preceded in death by her parents Neyland Avner and Josie Hare Cole; and brother Avner Thurston Cole. Survivors include brothers Morris Cole and wife Martha of Silsbee, and Alton Travis Cole Sr. of Lumberton; and numerous nieces and nephews. Doris will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

TO ALL OF THE FAMILY OF DORIS: I LUVED DORIS. SHE AND I GRADUATED IN THE CLASS OF 57 FROM SILSBEE HIGH SCHOOL. SHE WAS A VERY QUIET PERSON BUT I WAS BLESSED BECAUSE SHE WOULD ALWAYS TALK WITH ME. LUVED HER DEARLY. SHE IS ONE OF GOD'S CHILDREN AND MY LUV; BLESSINGS AND PRAYERS GO OUT TO SHE AND HER FAMILY. EDDIE HICKS DOGGETT -CLASS OF 1957.

Aunt Doris will be greatly missed. She was always loving, kind, and giving. I enjoyed spending time at her house as a young girl. My condolences to the Cole family. Love, Nina Roberts
