Dorothy Caroline Roberts, 90, of Milton, passed away April 24, 2016 at home. She was born March 12, 1926, in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late John M. Perry and L. Beatrice Smith Perry. She was a retired secretary for Environmental Health Department. She was preceded in death by her husband Albert E. Roberts and one brother Donald E. Perry. She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law Carolyn and Mike Rider, Kay and Bob Wintz, and Sharon Gail and Harold Hamlin; three sisters, Dolores Ryder, Doris Sword, and Della Kline; sister-in-law Charlotte Perry; nine grandchildren David Rider, Dan (Natasha) Rider, Deah (Matt) Stovall, Tom (Kathi) Wintz, Nancy (Brian) Wallace, Lisa (Rick) Chapman, Bobby Wintz, Carl and Cara Hamlin; and ten great grandchildren. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, and after 10 a.m. Wednesday at the church. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at Chestnut Grove Missionary Baptist Church, by Pastor Mark Hesson and Rev. Harold Hamlin.
