Isabelle Webb Metzler, 88, of Ashland, died peacefully Friday, May 6, 2016, at her residence.
She was born Jan. 23, 1928, in Webbville, a daughter of the late William Isaac Webb and Ruby Smith Webb.
In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her loving husband, Myron "Mike" Metzler in 2002.
Isabelle exuded class with everything she did. She will long be remembered for her vibrant personality, grace and love for others. She was a retired social worker supervisor with the State of Kentucky and was of the Methodist faith.
Those left to cherish her memory include a sister, June Webb McKnight of Ashland; a dear friend and caregiver, Lisa Stone and husband, Harold of Ashland; special friend, Helen Kelly of Ashland; and a host of nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
A graveside service will be at 1 p.m. Monday, May 9, 2016, at Ashland Cemetery Mausoleum.
Steen Funeral Homes in Ashland is in charge of arrangements.
