Funeral services for Sue Burden, 64, of Silsbee will be held at 10:00a.m. on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at Pinecrest Baptist Church in Silsbee with burial to follow at R.S. Farmer Memorial Cemetery in Silsbee. Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, May 13, 2016 at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee.

Mrs. Sue died Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at her residence.

A native of Evadale, Sue has lived in Silsbee for 37 years. Sue wore many hats while employed for 37 years with Silsbee Oaks Healthcare in Silsbee, Texas.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents Hollis Stevenson and Florence Elizabeth Haynes Wright, brothers, Burton Allen “Mike” Wright, Floyd Wright, Tommy Wright, and Frank “Modey” Wright.

Sue is survived by her husband of 37 years William Burden of Silsbee, her 3 daughters, Belinda McCasland of Cypress, TX., Veronica Sirmons and husband David, and Kathy Thomas all of Silsbee, grandchildren, Lauren Henderson, Jarrot Griffis, Cody McCasland, Thomas Griffis, and Atticus Thomas, and 2 great grandchildren, Carson Moore, and Emma Dearing all of Silsbee, she is also survived by her brothers, Carl Wright of Silsbee, Billy Wright of Lumberton, Steve Wright of Honey Island, TX., and John Paul Wright of Brookeland, TX., sisters, Pat Bennett and husband Carl of Lufkin, TX., Ginger Mayberry of Silsbee, Robin Wright of League City, and a multitude of nieces, nephews, and beloved friends.

Sue was a true sister and Friend of mine. She was my mentor I always tried to be like her in every way a great mother, wife,sister and Friend to everyone who has the pleasure of knowing her ,This would has been blessed with her and she will be truly missed , but Heaven is a more glorious place now that she's there , My love and prayers for The Family
