Janet Lea Bledsoe, 73, of Milton, WV, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 10, 2016. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2016 at the Good Hope Baptist Church, Milton, with Pastor Chad Clark officiating. Burial will be in Templeton Cemetery. She was born May 14, 1942 in Huntington, WV, a daughter of the late Robert and Elsie Hicks Hayes. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jarell Bledsoe, one son, Robert Jay Lucas, and four brothers, Harold, Billy, Kenneth, and Forrest Hayes. She is survived by two daughters, Kelly (Tracy) Woodard and Theresa (Roger Alford) Sweat, all of Milton; one son, Chadd (Angela) Bledsoe of Barboursville; one sister, Phyllis "Sissy" Lucas of Milton; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. The family would like to give a special thanks to Misty, Kyra, and Julie. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Saturday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, and after 1:00 p.m. Sunday at the church.
