Annette  EbarbA Memorial Mass will be held for Edith Annette Ebarb, 71, of Silsbee at 2:30 pm Saturday, May 28, 2016 at St Marks Catholic Church in Silsbee.

Ms. Ebarb passed away May 16, 2016 at Pine Arbor Nursing Home in Silsbee.

Annette was a native and lifelong resident of Silsbee. She worked for Silsbee State Bank, Hardin Savings and Loan, American General Life Insurance before retiring from the City of Silsbee where she worked as a clerk. Annette loved her family, her dogs, reading and enjoyed genealogy.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert Nathan ‘Bob’ and June Bailey Ebarb.

She is survived by aunts Mary “Toots” Lee of Houston, Julia Procell of Converse, LA, Evelyn Procell of Shreveport LA, and Pauline Ebarb of Ebarb, LA; uncle Raymond Ebarb of Brooklyn, NY; and numerous cousins, several that live in this area.

She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Annette was my 2nd cousin but we were close. I had many firsts with Annette, Linda Ronstadt's Blue Bayou, went to a concert in Houston, but when it was sold out, we went to the movie and saw Kelly's Heroes with Clint Eastwood. I always had a wonderful time with her and she always made me feel special. Annette, you were a great cousin, but an even better friend. I wish I'd spent more time with you in the last few years. RIP, my friend, you will be missed.

Had the privilege to know Annette first as a co-worker then as a friend. Many hours of solving the worlds problems over dinner or on the phone. Wonderful person.
