1948 - 2016
Lois A. Toney, 67, of Winfield, WV, went to be with the Lord on Friday May 27, 2016. She was born June 12, 1948 in Charleston, WV to the late Albert F. and Irone E. Arrowood. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Richard A. Toney. Lois was a graduate of Charleston High School and retired from State Farm. She was a member of Hometown Independent Mission Church and she was dedicated to her family and church. She is survived by one sister and brother-in-law Kimberly and Darren DeMattie of Proctorville; sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty Frederick of Rand, WV, Sandra Fort of Charleston, WV, Jo Ann Gunno of South Charleston, WV, Edra Wilson of Terre Haute, Indiana, Roger Toney of Nitro, WV, and William “Billy” Toney of Charleston, WV; step-son and his wife, Shawn and Tammy Toney of St. Albans, WV; step-grandsons Michael Toney and Andrew Toney; step great granddaughter Aydrien; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday June 4, 2016 at Hometown Independent Mission Church, Winfield, WV by Pastor Darren Persinger. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Putnam County Animal Shelter, 12908 Charleston Road, Red House, WV 25168.
