Dorothy "Doe" Keeney, 90, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 4, 2016 in Orange Park, FL. A celebration of life will be held on Tuesday, June 14, at 11am at Hall Funeral Home, Proctorville, Ohio. You may visit the family one hour prior to the service. Doe was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jack; her parents Claude and Roxie Daniel; and siblings Lucille Lookabill, Claude Daniel, Jr. and Eloise Comstock. She is survived by her daughters Janet and Jerry Aldridge of Hendersonville, NC and Debbie and Carroll Bragg of Middleburg, FL; her grandchildren Beth Ward, Josh Aldridge and Andy Bragg; and special nephew Bob Comstock. Doe was born June 27, 1925, Bradrick, Ohio. She lived most of her life in Chesapeake, Ohio. She was a devoted wife, mother, and aunt. She was a member of Grace Gospel Church where she held many positions including Young Peoples Leader, Sunday School teacher, and Social Committee chairman. She and Jack owned Faith Book Shop and Piedmont Gospel Bookstores for many years where they faithfully served many churches, pastors and lay people. She also had worked as a sales lady at the Smart Shop and Bradshaw Diehl. Her love of flowers was expressed both at home and with the Chesapeake Garden Club. Doe and Jack were blessed to be able to travel many places in the U.S. and internationally for business, mission work and pleasure. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Mission Fund of Grace Gospel Church. Burial will follow in Union Hill Cemetery, Chesapeake, Ohio. Janet and Debbie So sorry to see that your mom has passed Your mom and dad were wonderful people I have thought of them often. We lived beside you when we lived on Rockwood. Love and Prayers Susan
