Funeral services for Opal D. Henley, 96, of Angleton and formerly of Silsbee will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Hooks Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 pm until time of service.
Mrs. Henley died June 7, 2016 at Woodlake Nursing Home in Clute.
A native of Loeb, Opal was a longtime resident of this area before moving to Angleton. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
Mrs. Henley is preceded in death by her parents Morris and Madgeline Leatherwood Jones; brother Clarence Jones; sister Alphia McBryde and nephews Bobby and Ronald McBryde.
Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law George W and Donna Brown of Angleton; grandson Greg Brown of Angleton; nieces Carole Ainsworth of Pearland and Annese McBryde of Lumberton.
