A graveside service for George Herman Hart, 92, of Saratoga will be 10:00 am Saturday, June 18, 2016 at Old Hardin Cemetery in Kountze under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home. Visitation will begin at 5:00 pm Friday at the funeral home.
Mr. Hart died June 15, 2016 at Hermann Memorial Hospital in Houston.
A native and lifelong resident of Saratoga, Mr. Hart proudly served his country in the US Navy during World War II. He was a forest technician for the Texas Forest Service before retiring.
George is preceded in death by his parents, George H and Cora Dell Broderson Hart; wife Ann Hart; daughter JoAnne Hart; two brothers and five sisters.
He is survived by step-daughters Marie Bettis of Houston and Norma Ramos of Tioga LA; granddaughter Carolyn Ann Prien of Vidor; two great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Hart will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
