Dennis Paul Brumfield, Sr. 72, of Proctorville, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Thursday June 16, 2016 at the VA Medical Center, Huntington, WV. He was born March 30, 1944 in Huntington, WV to the late Frank E. and Marjorie Brumfield. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister-in-law Betty Jean Edwards. He was a member of Sunshine Freewill Baptist Church. He loved the Lord and he loved teaching Sunday school. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Donna Brumfield; two sons Dennis Jr. (Melissa) Brumfield, and Matthew (Amie) Brumfield; nine grandchildren, Amanda, Jocylene, Tazia, Tyler, Hunter, Nick, Tara, Kaity, and Haley; four great grandchildren, Peyton, Riley, Harmony, and Haley; sister Mitzi (Tom) Pittman; brother-in-law Mahlon (Vickie) Edwards; two sisters-in-law Rita (David) Nemeth and Loretta (Mark) Adkins; several nieces, nephews, family, and friends. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Monday June 20, 2016 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Carl Lilly and Pastor Jody Fortner. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday June 19, 2016 at the funeral home.
