Patsy Magalene Hess Lucas, 67, completed her journey to Heaven in the early hours of the morning on Wednesday, June 22nd, 2016. She was surrounded by her loving family as she ended her time on Earth. Patsy was born on March 23, 1949, in Logan Hospital to Flora and Albert Hess, the 7th of 11 children. She was preceeded in death by her parents, 6 brothers: Charlie, George, Ernest, Paris, Jim and John; and 1 sister: Margaret. She is survived by her true partner and love of 25 years, Tom Lucas; by her sons Andrew (Pam) Bronosky and Patrick (Anita) Bronosky; and stepdaughter Tomi Lynn (Steve) Coley; Grandkids: Jessyca, Zack (Shelby), Joshua, Jason, Kaitlyn, Hunter, Nik and Haley; and great granddaughter Cora. Also surviving are her brother Paul (Dorothy) and her sisters Nancy and Brenda, along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends too many to count. Patsy was an LPN by trade and always had a heart for helping others. She and her husband Tom attended Christ Temple Church in Huntington, WV, where we enjoyed concerts and worship services together. If you saw Patsy, you saw Tom, and they played Santa and Mrs Claus for several businesses every year. Our family would like to thank everyone for their calls, visits, prayers and kindnesses during Patsy's illness. We will be forever grateful to the staff at both St Mary's Hospital and Heartland Riverview for their care and assistance. A Celebration of Patsy's Life will be set for a later date and we thank you for your continued prayers while we learn to be without her here. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.

For Patsy, aka Grandma Unicorn:
*When it comes my time and to Heaven I go,
*It surely won't be easy for you but I hope that you know,
*How much I love you and how deeply I've cared.
*Think of laughter and fun and adventures we've shared.
*I know you'll shed tears and you'll grieve as you should.
*But please don't stay down - that can never be good.
*Instead see me dancing and twirling and leaping with joy.
*My body is now brand new - that devil can never destroy!
*We'll meet again soon and eternity we'll share.
*Remember I love you more and I'll see you there!
