We are so sorry to hear this sad news. Our hearts are broken for the Lang family and everyone who cared for Robbie! We loved seeing and talking to him when he worked in Proctorville. He was a special guy!

Christopher Robert “Robbie” Lang, 36, of Lawrence County, Ohio, was a beloved son, brother and partner who has departed from his earthly life way to soon on June 26, 2016 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV. He passed from complications of pneumonia involving multiple organ failure. He is now walking with angels in Heaven. He was born February 1, 1980 in Huntington, WV. He was the youngest son to Clarence and Pam Lang of Chesapeake, Ohio; the brother of Michael Lang of Chesapeake, Ohio and Lee Lang of New York; and a loving partner to Christopher Nelson of Chesapeake, Ohio who all survive him. He was preceded in death by grandmother Mabel Lang, grandmother Jeanne Pratt and grandfather Steve Pratt. Christopher Robert Lang was a simple country boy who was an old soul with deep thoughts. He had a love for people, animals with a passion for goats, and the earth. He would do anything for anyone to help them, and although he was quiet he had the most generous of hearts. He loved organic farming and was a part of FFA and 4H. Private family services will be held. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements.
