Willis “Billy” Reaves, III, 63 of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at home. He was born May 11, 1953 in Huntington, WV to the late Willis “Bill” Early, Jr and Vera Louise Ebright Reaves. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by an infant brother Timothy Reaves. He was a member of Huntington Masonic Lodge #53 AF & AM and he was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite Mason Valley of Huntington. He was the former owner of Hobbyland and was of Baptist faith. He is survived by his wife Donna Reaves; one son Willis “Willy” Reaves, IV and his fiancé April of Proctorville, Ohio; three grandchildren Ouinn, Tempi, and Tucker; one sister Mittie (Damon) Slone of Proctorville, Ohio; one nephew Benjamin (Sarah) Slone of Proctorville, Ohio; and a host of family and friends including Danny and Toni. The family expresses a special thank you to A & L Home Health Care, Area of Aging, HIMG staff and St. Mary’s Medical Center. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday, July 8, 2016 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio. Burial will follow in Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the St. Mary’s Regional Heart Institute or Joslin Diabetes Center. My heart goes out to his family. I knew Billy, Martha, and their parents in the '60s & '70s when I hung out a Hobbyland, a lot. My dad was friends with his dad when they grew up. I'm in Nashville now but will be in Huntington next week at my mom's.
