Barbara Kay Fisher 70, of Milton, went home to be with Lord on Friday, July 8, 2016 surrounded by her family after a long fight with cancer. Funeral services will be conducted on Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, at 11:00 am by Pastor Don Reynolds. Burial will be in Lunsford Cemetery. She was retired from the Cabell County Board of Education with 30 years of service. She was the daughter of the late Charles and Stella Irwin. Barbara was also preceded in death by her brother, David Lee Irwin and brother in laws Fred Fisher and Jim Robertson. Barbara is survived by her husband of 51 years, Harry Lee Fisher, daughters Teresa Fisher and David Powell, Lea Ann Duffield and her husband Chuck, granddaughter by marriage Bailey Duffield, brother Dallas (Arvena) Gibson, sister in laws Eilean (Gaylord) Johnson, Nancy Fisher and Jane Irwin, brother in law Dwight (Mary) Fisher and host of nieces and nephews and their family and friends. Visitation will be 6 – 8 Monday at Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.

We are so sorry for your loss. Barbara was a very loving person. Looking back there were some good rides in the back of the school bus out John's Creek. She will be missed. You are all in our prayers.
