Cathy Marie Fregia 54, of Sulphur, LA passed away in her home Sunday July 10, 2016.
A graveside service will be Friday July 15, 2016 at 10AM at R S Farmer Memorial Cemetery under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home. A gathering of Cathy’s family and friends will be held Thursday July 14, 2016 from 5PM until 8PM at Farmer Funeral Home in Silsbee.
Cathy Marie was born in Fort Stockton on February 19, 1961 to Earl and Frances Marie Leyendecker. She was definitely a “Daddy’s Girl” growing up and with 3 brothers she was known as ‘Baby’. Cathy worked in the car industry for multiple years for Kinsel Insta Credit. Cathy and her husband had lived in Sulphur for the last 2 years and were previously longtime residents of Lumberton. Cathy was married to her best friend and one true love, Billy Fregia, for 26 years. Cathy’s son Rusty was everything in the world to her; she was so proud to be his mom. Cathy loved being a grandmother to Kylie, Colton, and Parker. They were the light of her world. Playing, talking, and coloring with them were her favorite things to do with them.
Cathy is preceded in death by her parents and brother Danny Leyendecker.
Survivors include her loving husband Billy Fregia of Sulphur LA; her pride and joy Rusty Hartt of Silsbee; Will Fregia of Batson; brothers Dennis Leyendecker of Evadale, and Donnie Leyendecker of Lumberton; grandchildren Kylie Hartt, Colton Hartt and Parker Martin, and lots of family and friends.
Cathy will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
