Hazel E. Lovejoy Young Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1944 - 2016 Hazel E. Lovejoy Young, 72, of Proctorville, Ohio went home to be with the Lord on Sunday July 10, 2016. She was the eighth child of fifteen children. She was preceded in death by parents Robert and Thelma Lovejoy and grandson Matthew A. McComas. Survived by her son Christopher T. Young, daughter Tanya McComas, son Robert S. (Melissa) Young; honorary daughter Terri (Tony) Young; grandchildren Ryan (Sheena) McComas, Alyssa, Marah, Stone, and Emma Young, and Matthew Napier; great grandchildren Lalya, Emilee, Adam, Talen and Trace McComas; siblings Nola (Kenny) Tabor, Chilton Lovejoy, Dallas (Ada) Lovejoy, Harlow (Maxine) Lovejoy, Minnie (Glen) Bias, Ottie Lovejoy, Kenny (Carol) Lovejoy, Nyoka (Jim) James, Everett (Linda) Lovejoy, Dovetta (Roger) Harless, Dewayne Lovejoy, Anita Hale, Teresa Cummings, and Gail (Steve) Turley; favorite nieces and nephews; and friends Debbie Dunkle, Tori Adkins, Bobby Simpson, Jenni Napier, LaDonna Kenton, Doone B. Dotson ,and Doug McComas. Visitation at 11 a.m. to noon Friday, July 15, 2016 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with funeral immediately following. Burial will follow in Lovejoy Cemetery, Midkiff, WV. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.

I worked with Hazel at Big Bear many years ago. I hate to hear of her passing. She was always so good to me. Praying for your family.

To Hazel's family, Charley and I are so sorry for your loss. Hazel was such a good friend to Jenni and Matt. She was always there to help her. I only got to know her in the last few years. She was a remarkable woman who loved her family dearly.

Chris/Tanya/Robby Was so sorry to hear of Hazel passing. I have so many wonderful memories of her she was always a giver. She lived her life for others because thats just who she was a woman with a heart of gold. She will be greatly missed by everyone. I know your hearts are heavy but remember her and Lucky are waiting at the gate. I pray God will place his comforting arms around each of you and keep you in his loving arms. Love you all. Bobbie

So sorry to hear about your loss Hazel was a good friend she had been friends of the family for years she will truly be missed I will always remember her getting out in her yard and working and trying to keep it pretty she loved doing that all the family is in my prayers until we meet again Hazel love you and rest in peace you will never be forgotten
