A graveside services for Arthur Whitmire, 56, of Silsbee will be 10:00 am Friday, July22, 2016 at Beech Creek Cemetery in Spurger. Arrangements are under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5 pm until 8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.
Mr. Whitmire passed away July 15, 2016 at Lufkin Memorial Hospital.
Arthur was a native of Kountze and lifelong resident of this area. He worked in the oil field.
He is preceded in death by his father Tommie Whitmire and sister Darlene Snow.
Survivors include mother Nola Whitmire of Silsbee; wife Glenda Whitmire of Silsbee; son Donald Lee Brimer of Silsbee; daughters Pamela Whitmire Essary and Evelyn Whitmire both of Silsbee; brother Edward Whitmire of Woodville; sister Annette Powell of Silsbee and nine grandchildren.
