Funeral services for Martha Lynne Roye, 74, of Evadale will be 10 :00 am Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment following in Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
Mrs. Roye died July 22, 2016 at Baptist Hospital in Beaumont.
A native of Harper KS, she was a longtime resident of Evadale and Vidor. Martha was a radio bus driver for Aldine ISD and since retiring has been a homemaker, and a loving mother and grandmother.
Mrs. Roye was preceded in death by her parents Douglas and Mildred B Gill; and sisters Ann Jeanette Gill and Nancy Lee Mauldin.
She is survived by son Albert Douglas ‘Al” Reida and wife Krissy of Western Australia; daughter Jeanie Lynne Rhodes and husband Mark of Evadale; sisters Judy Scudamore and husband Jim of Loveland CO, Mary Tucker and husband Conrad of Grand Junction CO and Vera Jean ‘Jeanie’ McMahon and husband Pat of Houston. Martha is also survived by her loving grandchildren, Miranda Lynne Rhodes of Humble, Jacob Carl Rhodes, Charles Scott Rhodes, Luciana Catherine Rhodes , William Christopher Rhodes, all of Evadale and Christian Douglas Reida of Perth, Western Australia.
Mrs. Roye will missed by her many loved ones and friends.
