 Jerry Dale Blake, 47, of Huntington, WV went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, July 20, 2016. He was born February 14, 1969 in Huntington, WV. He was preceded in death by his brother Gary L. Blake. He is survived by his wife Valerie Bragg Blake; one son Jerry D. “JJ” Blake, Jr whom he dearly loved; his parents Jerry L and Sandra Blake; one nephew Christopher L. Blake whom he loved like a son; and his mother and father-in-law Victor and Dianna Bragg. He was a loving husband, father who will be missed greatly. He was a former employee of City of Huntington. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 27, 2016 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Gordon Simpson. Burial will follow in Woodmere Memorial Park, Huntington, WV. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
