A memorial service for Julia Nell Olive, 83, of Lumberton will be 3:00 pm Monday July 25, 2016 at Farmer Funeral Home. Visitation will be 1:00 pm until time of service.
Mrs. Olive passed away July 24, 2016 at her residence.
Julia was a native of Mississippi and was a longtime resident of this area. She was a retired care giver.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 41 years Connie Olive; parents Hayward and Mattie McCorkle; sons Timothy W. Alford and Robert S. Alford; daughter Jeannie Deatly and sisters Mary Mitchell and Sara McCorkle.
Survivors include sons Travis Olive and Dennis Olive both of Oklahoma and Joseph Alford of Huntsville; daughters Kathleen Jones and Patricia Gober both of Lumberton and Bonnie Walker of Oklahoma; brother Joseph McCorkle of Baton Rouge, LA. and sixteen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
