Phyllis Bellew, 86 of Huntington, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother, passed away July 30, 2016 surrounded by her family. She was born in Ashland, KY, the daughter of the late Oscar and Elizabeth Collinsworth. She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Bellew; sister Lena Collinsworth; and son-in-law Londal Taylor. Phyllis retired from Sears and earlier worked as the Estee Lauder rep at Smart Shop. She had been associated with the First Church of God all of her life and was a member of the Women’s Auxiliary, American Legion Post 16. She is survived by her daughters Debbie Wells of Huntington, Jill Smith (Ozzie Vinson) of Lutz, FL and Sheri Taylor of Proctorville, OH.; grandchildren Melissa Clayton (Matthew), Michael Wells (Rachel), Bethany Smith and Melanie Boss (Randy); great-grandchildren, Marisa, Whitney, Kayla and Ashley Clayton and Allan and Alex Boss; sister Jean Bugg (Jack); and brother Jim Collinsworth. Visitation will be on Tuesday, August 2 from noon - 2 pm, with service at 2 pm at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio with Pastor Jeremy Holbrook of Wildwood First Church of God, officiating. Kim Keffer, her cousin, will perform the music. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Burial Park, Ashland, KY. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/hall.
