Edward Lynn Drake Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1962 - 2016 Graveside funeral services for Edward Lynn Drake, 54, of Fred will be 4:00 pm Tuesday, August 9, 2016 at Franks Branch Cemetery under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home. Visitation will be 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Drake passed away August 5, 2016 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Edward was a native of Kountze and lifelong resident of Fred. He was a logger. He is preceded in death by his father Marvin E. Drake. Survivors include his mother Violet Marie Hicks of Fred; son DeCota Lynn Drake and wife Christina of Fred; brothers Roland Drake and Shane Drake both of Fred; two grandchildren Levi Ray Drake and Mason Lynn Drake and many other aunts, uncles, cousins and extended relatives. Edward was loved and will be missed by his family and many friends.

I was so sorry to hear the news of Edward, he was always so much fun to hang out with in high school, and a great athlete for Warren High. I will be keeping the Drake family in my daily prayers.
