Deloris Ann Ratliff, 78, of Ashland, died peacefully, Monday, Aug. 8, 2016, in Community Hospice Care Center in Ashland.
She was born Jan. 2, 1938, in Ashland, to the late Allie Lambert Baer Bentley and her adoptive parents, the late Frank and Thelma Murray. She was also preceded in death by her loving husband of 55 years, Charles R. "Dick" Ratliff; a son, Michael R. Ratliff; daughter Thelma Ruth "T.R." McClelland; brother David Edward Baer; and a step-brother, David Lewis Bentley.
Deloris was a member of Old Orchard Church of Christ. She worked at Woodland Oaks in Ashland and was a loving and devoted homemaker.
Survivors include two sons, Robert W. Ratliff and wife, Madonna and Daniel F. Ratliff, all of Ashland; daughter-in-law, Lynette Ratliff of Ashland; grandchildren, Brooke, Jason, Jessica, Michael and Madison Ratliff and Jennifer Rawn and Missy Moore; seven great-grandchildren; two nieces, Diane McClelland and Marsha Griffith; and a dear life-long friend, Nancy Branham.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, Aug. 11, 2016, at Steen Funeral Home-13th Street Chapel in Ashland with Pastor Mark A. Kloha officiating. Burial will be in Golden Oaks Memorial Gardens in Ashland.
Friends may call after 11 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
