Corrine Alice Brumfield (née Pauley) died on August 4, 2016 in Palm Bay, Florida, at the age of 82. Corrine is survived by her children, Lloyd Brumfield (Donna) of Hebron, KY and Teresa Hoffkins (Joseph) of Palm Bay, FL; siblings Lawrence Pauley (Barbara) of Huntington, Dovetta White of Knoxville, TN, Bonnie Wise of Athens, GA, Charles “Pete” Pauley (Ruby) of Sumerco, WV, and Dan Pauley of Taylor, MI, and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents Earl W. Pauley and Elsie (née Pridemore) Pauley of Hamlin, WV; siblings Betty Daughtery of Lewisburg, WV, Billy W. Pauley of Los Angeles, CA, and Roger Pauley of San Diego, CA. Corrine was born on October 17, 1933, in Yawkey, WV to Earl and Elsie Pauley. She graduated from Hamlin High School in 1952. After moving to Huntington to attend business school, Corrine met and married Garland L. Brumfield in 1953 and started her family a few years later. She worked for Guaranty National Bank in Huntington for several years before moving to Melbourne, FL, in 1987. A memorial service is scheduled for 3:00 p.m., Saturday, August 20, 2016, at Wallace Funeral Home & Chapel, 1159 Central Avenue Barboursville, WV.
