 Donna V. Smith Burcham, 82, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Tuesday August 16, 2016 at her home. She was born to Clovis and Jessie Bradley Smith on August 20, 1933 in Chesapeake, Ohio. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by a son Timothy Lee. She is survived by one son Larry E. (Debbie) Burcham ; two daughters Sandy (Spud) Bays, and Diana (Larry) Kipp all of Proctorville; three grandchildren Misty, B.J., and Kelly; six great grandchildren Meranda, Sydnee, Earica, Riley, Caden, and Hadley; two great great grandchildren Avery and Audrey; a sister Marilyn Moss and her children all of Tennessee; special niece Kathy Graham Black; her caregiver Amanda; and her furry friends Apolo and Pepper. The family would like to express a sincere thank you to all who called Mom, sent cards, especially Sheila Kipp, and those who visited during her illness. The kindness given to her over the years while in the hospital, she appreciated. Mom was kind and loving to everyone. She never had an unkind word about anyone. She loved quilting, her flowers, and was always giving. Mom was “our Mom” and so much more. If you love someone, let them know you do. A funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Friday August 19, 2016 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Minister Charles Groves and Minister John Holland. Burial will follow in Centenary Cemetery, Chesapeake, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
