Cindy Ellen James Scharber was born into this world on April 25, 1961 in Port Clinton, OH and passed on August 11, 2016 in Beaumont, TX. Cindy grew up in Ohio; attended college at USC; was living in North Carolina when she met the love of her life, Philip; got married in Hawaii in 1991, and finally settled down in Silsbee, TX in 1993.
She was involved in hotel management until she became a full-time mom. She remained a devoted wife and mother to the end. She is preceded in death by husband Philip Scharber; mother Juanita Silverwood James and father Jerry James of Ohio. She is survived by sons James Scharber of Silsbee, TX and Robert Scharber, also of Silsbee.
A memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Silsbee on Saturday, August 20 at 10:00 am to honor her and pay last respects. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial gifts be sent on gofundme.com for “Scharber Family fund”.
