Marlene and Brenda lived across from us for many years. Although my cousins, they were also our childhood friends. I have very fond memories of playing together; Barbies, sleigh riding, pretending we were Lost in Space from the old TV show. Marlene was always very sweet, in fact I don't ever remember her being mad and Brenda was the same. Over the years we lost touch but I frequently remember those fun times growing up....simpler times free from worries. The picnic that grandma had for us in her backyard under the willow tree, and hooking their German Shepard 'King' to a red flyer wagon. We were always outside in the summer and always very busy. I am so sorry that Marlene is gone and I will always hold those childhood memories close. With great sympathy to Marlene's family. Jo Jane
