George William “Bill” Nicely, 75, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Monday, August 29, 2016 at home. He was born March 19, 1941 in Prichard, WV son of the late William and Virginia Gilkerson Nicely. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one brother James Nicely; one sister Mary Graham; and special childhood friend Tona Carter. He attended First Baptist Church of Chesapeake and retired from AC & F Industries. He is survived by his wife Sue Caudill Nicely; two sons Duane Nicely and Daryl Nicely both of Chesapeake, Ohio; step son Bryan (Crystal) King of Lesage, WV; two grandchildren Tiffany (Roy) and Justin of Chesapeake, Ohio; step grandson Jonathan of Huntington, WV; two great grandchildren Kayden and Noah; five sisters Donna Lambert, Connie Sibert, Carolyn Nicely, Debbie Nicely all of Chesapeake, Ohio and Cassie Blevins of Madison Heights, VA; several nieces and nephews; and family friends May Hansford and Shawn Carter. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, September 1, 2016 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Harry Tyree. Burial will follow in Chesapeake Memorial Gardens, Chesapeake, Ohio. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio.
