Robert “Candyman” David Stewart, 64, of Huntington, WV passed peacefully into his Father’s arms Tuesday, August 30, 2016 at The Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House, Huntington, WV. He was born August 3, 1952 in Huntington, WV. He was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Stewart and Anna Faye Stewart; and his two brothers William Stewart and Kevin Stewart who were all from Huntington, WV. He is survived by his wife Paula Davis Stewart of Huntington; son Richard Paul Stewart and partner Kate Gibson of Wheeling; daughter Elizabeth Fay Stewart, son-in-law Joel Garrett Gartin; granddaughter Elizabeth Kira Gartin; sisters-in-law Marsha Stewart and Kathy Stewart; nephew Danny Stewart, and niece and nephew Jennifer and Zach Stewart. Robert was a sales representative for Halo Branded Solutions. A memorial service will be held 6 p.m. Saturday, September 3, 2016 at New Baptist Church, 610 28th Street, Huntington, WV with Pastor Trent Eastman officiating. Visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Saturday September 3, 2016 at the church. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is in charge of arrangements.
