I am truly sorry for your loss. I have many wonderful memories of my time at Scottown elementary when "Mr. Schafer" was there. He would roll up his sleeves and play softball in the mornings and at lunch hour with us. He was also quite different than many other teachers and principals at the time by smiling and talking with students rather than carrying a paddle around. He will always be fondly remembered.
