Harold Moore, 90, of Ashland, entered his heavenly home Sunday, Sept. 11, 2016.
He was born Aug. 2, 1926, the only child of the late Lewis and Pearl Berry Moore.
Harold served the Lord for more than 60 years and was a devoted member of Rose Hill Baptist Church. He retired from Armco Steel and he was a World War II and Korean Conflict Navy veteran. After his retirement, he devoted 20 years as a volunteer to the Southern Baptist Disaster Relief.
He leaves behind his loving and devoted wife of 69 years, Grace Ball Moore of Ashland; daughter Cindy Hephner of Ashland; twin sons Mark (Angela) Moore of Ashland and Michael Moore of Nicholasville; five grandchildren, Andy Crooks, Amanda Kennedy, Aaron Moore, Danna Thomas and Billy Hephner all of Ashland; and 11 great-grandchildren.
The family would like to thank Wayne and Carol Lewis and Bill and Frances Shumate of Ashland for their constant care and concern.
A celebration of Harold's life will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2016, at Steen Funeral Home-Central Avenue Chapel in Ashland with Dr. Matt Shamblin officiating. Entombment will be in Rose Hill Burial Park Mausoleum in Ashland where military rites will be conducted by the U.S. Navy and American Legion Kenova Post 93.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Southern Baptist Relief Fund, Community Hospice Care Center or Rose Hill Christian School.
