Graveside funeral services for Johnny Ray “Cowboy” “Goat Man” Jurecek Sr, 75, of Silsbee will be 2:00 pm Friday, September 16, 2016 at Turner Branch Cemetery in Spurger under the direction of Farmer Funeral Home.
Mr. Jurecek died September 14, 2016 at his residence,
Johnny Ray was born August 27, 1941 to John Frank and Eva Drodd Jurecek in Richmond and was a longtime resident of this area. He was a retired boilermaker, working out of Union 132, and proudly served his country during the Vietnam War in the US Army.
Mr. Jurecek is preceded in death by his parents; brother Oscar Jurecek and grandchild Chayia Jurecek.
Surviving him are his son Johnnie Ray Jurecek Jr and wife Carrie of Spurger; daughter Laynette Jurecek of Friendswood; sisters Eleanor Sunquist of Friendswood and June Sanders of Texas City and three grandchildren.
