Bernice Lee Whitrock, 88, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Monday, September 19, 2016 at home. She was born August 28, 1928 in Lawrence County, Ohio daughter of the late Jasper and Anna Brown Dennison. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Joe Whitrock; and four siblings Ethel Burcham, Helen Taylor, Irene Dennison and Jasper Dennison. She is survived by one daughter Treva and Jack Allen Hamlin of Proctorville, Ohio; one son William “Bill” and Toni Whitrock of Scottsdale, AZ; one granddaughter Kimberlie Graley and Shane Barton of Lavalette, WV; one grandson Mark Allen and Kristen Hamlin of Proctorville, Ohio; two great grandsons Corey and Alex Graley; one great granddaughter Kerri and Josh Bryan; one great great grandson Rylan Bryan; one sister Maxine Day of Proctorville, Ohio; many nieces, nephews and friends; and special caregivers Linda Dennison and Grace McMaster. She was a retired seamstress from Maidenform with 38 ½ years of service. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, September 22, 2016 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Harold Hamlin. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, September 22, 2016 at the funeral home.
