Josephine Caroline Null, 97, of Proctorville, Ohio, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday September 20, 2016 at home. She was born July 21, 1919 in Lawrence County, Ohio to the late Herschell and Clara Moore Crawford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Chester Shufford Null; two brothers Deloy (Cora) Crawford and Buddy Crawford; and two sisters Juanita (Gordon) Moore and Alma Crawford. Josephine is survived by one son Billy “Mackie” (Linda) Null; daughter Janet (Danny) Scarberry; three grandchildren Stacie (Andrew) Mullis, Gretchen (Michael) Dick, and Christopher (Margaret) Scarberry; 11 great grandchildren Muhammad, Zack, Yousef, Issa, and Ayah Jamal, Sophia Josephine, Johnathan, and Anthony Dick; three great grandchildren Wyatt Scarberry, and Duncan and Skye Mullis; two nieces Joyce McCaffery and Brenda (John) Cline; one nephew Lee Crawford; special cousin Charlie (Marlene) Nichols; and sister-in-law Gwen Rogoz of Columbus, Ohio. Funeral service will be conducted 11 a.m. Friday September 23, 2016 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Rev. Dale Barnett. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday September 22, 2016 at the funeral home.
