1927 - 2016
Lorena Williams Bryan, 89, passed into the arms of Jesus on September 28, 2016, at the Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House. Preceding her journey were parents Ernest and Lessie Rollyson Williams; husband Joseph Bryan; brothers Arville and James Williams; sisters Fay Hanna, Albert Smith and Mary Yoho. She is survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law Warren (Dee Dee) and Gary (Peggy) Williams, Aurelia Williams and Eloise Hodges. Also surviving are her son and daughter-in-law James (Sue) Bryan and daughters and sons-in-law Carrie (Bob) Overmoyer, Connie (Danny) Underwood, Becky (John) Blake; six grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren and three great great grandbabies; many loving nieces and nephews and community friends. She was a member of the Barker Ridge United Baptist Church. Visitation will be Saturday, October 1, 2016, beginning at 12 noon with services led by Rev. Jim Dailey following at 2 p.m. at the Wallace Funeral Home in Milton. Burial will follow at Bicker Cemetery on Barker Ridge, Milton, WV. Memorial contributions may be made to Emogene Dolin Jones Hospice House in appreciation for their loving and attentive care. Charlie & I are saddened by Aunt Lorena's passing & regret that we couldn't be with you all Saturday. She was a beautiful person inside and out. It is heart breaking that we have lost another Williams sibling but we know she is celebrating with Papa & Grandma Williams, Uncle Joe, & her borhters & sisters who have gone on before her. What a blessing it is to be a Williams!! Love to all!!!

Carrie, I just found out about the passing of your mother. As a Christian, the only comfort is knowing you will see her someday.... to be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord (II Corinthians 5). My prayers are with you. Love Arissa

Would like to send my condolences to Jim and Sue Bryan for the loss of Jim's mother. It's a sad time and devastating loss but wonderful to know she's gone away to be with her Lord and Savior in heaven. My prayers are with Jim and Sue and the rest of the family during this sad time.
