Ronald Duane Carter, 55, of Huntington, WV passed away Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington, WV. He was born February 24, 1961 in Cabell County, WV son of the Leonard Clyde and Charlotte Ann Young Carter. He was preceded in death by his two sons Richard “Bubba” Blake and Ronny Zirkle. He is survived by his wife of 32 years Alice Blake Carter; one son John Blake; one daughter April Blake; daughter-in-law Megan Blake all of Huntington, WV; 11 grandchildren Brian Newton (Matt Newton), Cody Hensley, Gracie Blake, Keelan Blake, Brooklyn Blake, Gavin Blake, Jimma Chaffin, Chelsie Blake, Zackary Zirkle, Caleb Zirkle and Tristen Zirkle; one great grandson Sylias Newton; one brother Leonard Carter of Lesage, WV; one sister Charlene Fetty of Milton, WV; a friend who was like his son Brian K. Hensley; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Ron had a love for music and being outdoors. He loved football season and rooting for his Bengals and Ohio State Teams and loved being with his family. He will be missed. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to Hall Funeral Home to assist with expenses. Funeral service will be conducted 3 p.m. Saturday, October 1, 2016 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio.
