Jackie Blanton, 74, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away Monday, October 3, 2016 at home. She was born July 29, 1942 in Springfield, Massachusetts daughter of the late Roy and Rena Sherman Doe. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Blanton; her son Paul H. Emlich; and grandson Greg Lambert. She is survived by two daughters Terri (Randall) Lambert and Cathy (Bert) Rideout; three grandchildren Randi (Tim) Webb, Ashley (Brennan) Hall and Catelyn (Kyle) Wise; and five great grandchildren Cameron Lambert, Timothy Webb, Rooney Hall, Crash Hall and Baker Wise. She was a member of Rockwood Baptist Church. A graveside service will be held 12 noon Tuesday, October 4, 2016 at Miller Memorial Gardens, Miller, Ohio with Pastor Jerry Galloway officiating. Burial will follow. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the family. Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio is in charge of arrangements.
