Ronnie Lee Carroll, 64, of Huntington, WV passed away Monday, October 17, 2016 at St. Mary’s Medical Center, Huntington, WV. He was born February 19, 1952 in Huntington, WV son of the late Herbert “Red” Carroll and Barbara Pennington and special stepfather Lawrence Pennington. He is survived by a brother, Gary Carroll of Huntington; two sisters Carlene Woodley of Omaha, Arkansas and Marlene Burch of Crane, Missouri; his children, Tonya Reynolds of Huntington, WV, Trina Thompson (Woodrow Kincaid) of Rome, Ohio, Ronnie Carroll, Jr. (Amanda Lowe) of Ashton, WV, Donnie Carroll of Huntington, WV and Tracy Carroll (David Hitchcock) of Rome, Ohio. He was “Papaw” to 13 grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He loved to play drums and over the years was a drummer for several local bands. The family would like to express a heartfelt thank you to the staff at St. Mary’s Medical Center Emergency Room. Funeral service will be conducted 2 p.m. Thursday, October 20, 2016 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Pastor Norman Stickler.
