Funeral services for Bruce Wain Fountain, 77, of Silsbee will be 2:00 pm Wednesday, December 28, 2016 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment to follow at Franks Branch Cemetery in Fred. Visitation will be Tuesday from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
Mr. Fountain passed away December 25, 2016 at his residence.
Bruce was born September 19, 1939 in DeRidder Louisiana and was a longtime resident of Silsbee. He worked as a supervisor for Spindletop in Beaumont. Bruce also served his country proudly in the United States Navy.
Mr. Fountain is preceded in death by parents John M. and Marsha May Fountain; daughter Mary Elkins; sister Fay Higginbotham and two grandchildren.
Survivors include wife Bettie Jean Loftin Fountain of Silsbee; daughters Jo Ann Blair of Spurger Pamela McWilliams of Silsbee, Elizabeth McPherson of Jena, LA, Tina Anderson of Fred and Onneta Knighten of Silsbee; sisters Lena Midkiff of Vidor and Ruby Gidney of DeRidder, LA; twelve grandchildren and thirteen great grandchildren.
Bruce will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
