Aunt May Evelyn & Uncle Jack were a big part of life growing up on the Gillette Farm. They were the only family to treat me as though I was a part of the family & consistently showed me compassion and love. I will forever miss her sense of humor and style.

To the Gillette family, all of my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of sorrow & sadness. I think back to my High School years at Fairland High, with the fondest memories of Mrs. Hunt. She was not only my 10th Grade Home Room Teacher, she taught History and did it in such a way as to make me fall in love with History! She was always the most elegant and well dressed woman/teacher in all of Fairland High School. I waited each morning in Home-Room with great anticipation, just to see what she would be wearing that morning, as I knew it would be glamorous and she would look impeccable! I loved you dearly Mrs. Hunt, though I never told you that in person, so I am telling you now.......safe passage into heaven my dear sweet lady!

I was a student of Ms. Hunt in 1978 in the 9th grade. She was very well respected in her classroom and the students knew that she was in charge. I now live in Cincinnati, Ohio and I will always have very fond memories of Ms. Hunt. A life very well lived. My sincere condolences to the family.

Please know that the Gillette family is in my thoughts. Ms. Hunt was a lady of great dignity, poise and charm. She was a mentor to multitudes of young people who walked the halls of Fairland High School. Thank you, Ms. Hunt, for what you did for all of us.
