Funeral services for Paul Gonzalez, 88, of Silsbee will be 1:00 pm Monday, January 23, 2017 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment to follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time Monday.
Mr. Gonzalez passed away January 19, 2017 at Silsbee Oaks Healthcare.
He was a native of Honey Island and a longtime resident of Silsbee. Paul was a member of the Silsbee Masonic Lodge 927 and had worked for Temple-Inland for 38 ½ years before retiring. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp and was a WWII veteran.
Paul is preceded in death by his father Jose’ Gonzalez and his loving mother Paula Loredo Gonzalez.
Survivors include wife Linda Gonzalez of Silsbee; daughter Paula Schwartz of Ontario, Canada; sisters Rosa Beal of Nederland and Jean Cobb of West Columbia, TX.
Mr. Gonzalez will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
