Paul Gonzalez Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1928 - 2017 Funeral services for Paul Gonzalez, 88, of Silsbee will be 1:00 pm Monday, January 23, 2017 at Farmer Funeral Home with interment to follow at Resthaven Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until service time Monday. Mr. Gonzalez passed away January 19, 2017 at Silsbee Oaks Healthcare. He was a native of Honey Island and a longtime resident of Silsbee. Paul was a member of the Silsbee Masonic Lodge 927 and had worked for Temple-Inland for 38 ½ years before retiring. He proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corp and was a WWII veteran. Paul is preceded in death by his father Jose’ Gonzalez and his loving mother Paula Loredo Gonzalez. Survivors include wife Linda Gonzalez of Silsbee; daughter Paula Schwartz of Ontario, Canada; sisters Rosa Beal of Nederland and Jean Cobb of West Columbia, TX. Mr. Gonzalez will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

To Paul's family: My condolences for the loss of a good man. I would see him at church & always thought that he was such a handsome man. Paula & I were good friends during our teenage years & i enjoyed being around her family. I send my prayers for comfort & peace.

So sorry to hear about Bro. Paul; I sat with him on several occasions while visiting Silsbee Lodge #927. My prayers are with all of Paul's family and friends, especially Jean whom I have not seen since we were both working for SWBT nearly 30 years ago.
