Alfred S. Clark, 88, of Chesapeake, Ohio passed away peacefully on Thursday January 26, 2017. He was born June 28, 1928 in Logan, WV to the late John and Eva Clark. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Alma Clark and son Terry Clark. Alfred was a member of the Rome Church of Christ. He served in Korea in the U.S. Army and retired from Allied Chemical and AK Steel. He is survived by his loving family, sons Jerry (Margaret) Clark and Richard (Melody) Clark; daughter Valerie Soltys; daughter-in-law Bonita Pritchard Clark (Danny) Williams; nine grandchildren Jerrod (Elizabeth) Clark, Jonathan (Leah) Clark, Joseph (Tiffany) Clark, Andy (Mindy) Clark, Tessa (Aaron) Gossett, Ryan (Kathy) Clark, Eric (Nikie) Clark, Joie (Greg) Moore, and Carie (Benjamin) Stillman; great grandchildren Frankie and Nicholas Moore, Sidney, Audrey, Liam, and Bailee Clark, Carolina and Henry Clark, Adrianna and Annabelle Clark, Hunter and Dean Clark, Colin and Payton Clark, Benjamin and Averie Stillman, and baby Gossett on the way; sister-in-law Patsy Clark; and brother-in-law Glenn Galloway. Funeral service will be conducted 3 p.m. Saturday January 28, 2017 at Hall Funeral Home and Crematory, Proctorville, Ohio by Minister David Trevathan. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery, Proctorville, Ohio. Visitation will be held from 2 to 3 p.m. Saturday January 28, 2017 at the funeral home. So sorry for your loss. We have so many memories of Al and Alma. So glad I got to see Al when I was home in October.

Sorry to read about the passing of Al; I grew up next door to the Clark's when they lived on Bradrick Hill before their move to Chesapeake. Condolences to the family; sorry for your loss.

Dotti and I want to send our prayers with Jerry Ricky Valerie And Terry Family during the loss of their Dad. He was a person who left many memories for our family. Our family lived so very close when our parents were married on Bradrick .They shared good times and bad during their sickness and was always there for each other. Prayers are with the family that you may find peace through our Lord Linda, Ron Bartram Jay Dottie Dawson Cousins of the family
