Carol Smith Click for Condolences      Printable Version 1943 - 2017 Carol “Kay” Smith, 73, of Milton, passed away Saturday, January 28, 2017 at her residence. Funeral services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton, by Pastor Mark Hesson and Rev. Chelcie Gibson. Burial will be in Chestnut Grove Cemetery. She was born February 12, 1943 in Cabell County, a daughter of the late Ormah and Claudia Williams Jenkins. She was a former employee of Kerr Glass, Hills Department Store and Ames Department Store, and former co-owner of Jim’s Car Wash/Camping/and Storage. She was preceded in death by her sister, Sylvia Bryant. Kay is survived by her husband, Jimmy Smith; one daughter, Sharon Lea Smith of Milton; son and daughter-in-law, Mark Anthony and Wendy Smith of Milton; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Betty and Ivan Knapp, Retha Rowsey and Sadie and Ivan Clagg, all of Milton; three grandchildren, Sydney Lewis and her husband Taylor, Mason Smith and Brayden Whitt and one great-grandchild, Addley Lewis. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Monday at the Wallace Funeral Home, Milton. Online condolences may be expressed to the family at www.timeformemory.com/wallace.
